Forklifts have a lifting capacity of 16MT
Six forklift truck from Konecranes were recently delivered to DP World’s T1 in Jebel Ali.
The forklift trucks are the model Konecranes SMV16-1200C. They have a lifting capacity of 16 metric tons at 1200 mm and a wheelbase of 3750 mm.
To meet DP Worlds safety requirements the machines are equipped with overload protection system, disabled forklift operation when seatbelt is disengaged and Groeneveld Greensight reverse system.
DP World is a long-time Konecranes customer with a fleet of Konecranes forklift trucks, empty container handlers, reach stackers and RTGs (rubber tyred gantries).
