Rakesh Nair takes over in this position
Groupe PSA, the French automotive manufacturer of Peugeot, Citroën, DS and Opel brands, has appointed Rakesh Nair as the Managing Director of the GCC region. He will report directly to Samir Cherfan, Senior Vice President for Sales, Marketing and After Sales, Africa and Middle East, Groupe PSA.
“I am confident he will help the company achieve robust and healthy business foundations for the four brands in the GCC,” remarked Cherfan.

Nair joins Groupe PSA, having recently served as a General Manager in Nissan group for Africa, Middle East and India. In his long automotive industry experience in the Middle East and Europe, Nair has served in several positions across multiple departments from operations and product planning to sales, marketing and strategy.
