The move comes in line with the UAE National Disinfection Programme
The Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) has launched a disinfection drive to sterilise all its facilities in cooperation with the Sharjah Environment Company (Bee’ah).
The sterilization campaign covered the authority’s head office, Hamriyah Port Office and Hamriyah Port Customs Office as well as main and service roads, various internal and external facilities and offices, using highly effective disinfectants, according to the highest international standards.
The drive comes in line with HFZA’s precautionary measures being taken to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and to safeguard the health and safety of its employees and customers. It is also in line with the National Disinfection Programme.
“The new drive that we recently launched comes in line with the national sterilization program and was carried out in cooperation with our strategic partners,” remarked Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director, HFZA.
Other precautionary measures taken by HFZA include the suspension of work at customer services centres, where customers can no longer visit these centres to process their transaction, instead they have to use smart platforms to do so.
It has also suspended fingerprint biometric attendance systems, offered diverse services through the smart app and call centres, placed sanitizers in corridors, entry points and used medical devices to measure the temperature of visitors at the entrances of all buildings.
