Food and dairy producer supports seniors in Dubai during crisis
Pinar, a major food and dairy producer, has joined forces with the Community Development Authority (CDA) to support senior citizens and residents in Dubai.
Pinar is dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable social groups at risk, in particular at a time when the world is experiencing new challenges. To help encourage adoption of recent government directives to stay at home, Pinar, in collaboration with the CDA will be supporting the initiative of ‘Secure Together’ and ‘Weleef’ programme.
The initiative saw the delivery of baskets containing premium dairy products to the doorstep of participants of both programs. The gesture was well received by the seniors, who appreciated the baskets and welcomed the products that they can enjoy without leaving the comfort and safety of their homes.
“Pinar Arabia is known for their social responsibility programs, in the current situation all the social entities, private companies and individuals need to collaborate in order to pass this with the safety and positivity,” remarked Huraiz Al Mur Bin Huraiz, CEO, Social Care & Development Sector, CDA.
“This initiative is in support of DHA’s strong recommendation for people to stay home and limit all social contact immediately,” said Arda Cenk Tokbas, General Manager, Pinar Arabia.
