Autobrand appoints Yury Duzhnikov as Head of Sales for Passenger Vehicles
Peugeot is continuing its revival in the region with a sales management restructuring, refreshed models and updated targets to meet the growth in demand for the French automaker’s products and services, a company press communiqué said.
To this end, Peugeot has appointed Yury Duzhnikov as its new Head of Sales for Peugeot Passenger Vehicles in the GCC, while Hesham Amer will focus on the business-to-business channel as Head of Fleet and Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales.
Peugeot has several exciting new models expected to debut in the region over the coming 12 months, including the compact SUV, the 2008 as well as the sporty 508 GT with 220hp output to get the thrill-seekers’ pulses racing.
The automaker also continues to optimise its driver experience offering with features such as i-Cockpit. This system immerses customers into a digital world through a customisable and configurable head-up digital display, compact steering wheel with integrated controls and an electric automatic gearbox.
“With these appointments and a refreshed SUV line-up in 2021, Peugeot can now focus on passenger vehicles, along with the entire showroom experience,” remarked Rakesh Nair, Managing Director, Groupe PSA, GCC.
