AGMA has successfully met the certification criteria for the ISO 22716:2007 standard
Intertek recently announced today that it has awarded Arabian German Manufacturing Company (AGMA) in Bahrain, the ISO 22716:2007 certification for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for cleaning products.
AGMA is one of the main producers of cleaning products in Bahrain, and it is the first time AGMA has achieved certification for the ISO 22716:2007 standard.
ISO 22716:2007 is an international standard for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) that provides guidelines and requirements which an organisation must meet to assure its products meet industry standards. ISO 22716 introduces a management systems approach to documenting and regulating the production, control, storage, and shipment of products.
The award was presented to Sana A. Aleem Abdullah, Head of Quality, AGMA, by Hesham Abbas, Area Manager, Intertek Business Assurance Bahrain & KSA Western Region. “The auditing process for Good Manufacturing Practices has not only added value to our operations, but the certification has also enabled AGMA to enter into new export markets,” affirmed Sara.
“Obtaining the ISO 22716 certification is a milestone worth celebrating in the journey for excellence, and it shows AGMA has implemented manufacturing practices that follow the highest international standards,” remarked Abbas.
