Boeing will be exhibiting its diverse, and advanced range of defense technologies and products, and service capabilities at the second edition of Egypt’s Defence Expo (EDEX 2021) this year. Held under the patronage of His Excellency, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, The President of The Arab Republic of Egypt and The Supreme Commander of the Egyptian Armed Forces, the show will take place from 29th November to 2nd December, 2021 at the newly inaugurated Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC).
EDEX is a key international platform for Boeing to highlight its products and services that support and advance Egypt and the wider region’s defense and security requirements. Boeing continues to work with regional governments to ensure future advancements in their defense and security capabilities.

The Wave Glider designed and manufactured by Liquid Robotics, is the world’s most experienced, long-duration autonomous surface vehicle (ASV). It supports a wide range of sensors and payloads to collect and transmit data in real-time from seabed to space, and is used by defense organizations around the world for anti-submarine warfare (ASW), maritime domain awareness (MDA), and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions.
Boeing will also showcase the Boeing Global Services portfolio, which includes sustainment, modifications and modernization, upgrades, training and maintenance services, many of which are deployed in support of governments in the region today. Boeing expects the government support and services 10-year market (between 2020 and 2029) to be worth $1.4T. The Middle East represents $195B of the services market, with more than 50% (over $97B) of that dedicated to defense and security services.
