Continuing its commitment to making sustainability a priority, GWC recently unveiled its commitment through a strategic partnership for the 8th edition of Qatar Sustainability Week (QSW), hosted by the Earthna Centre from 4 to 11 November 2023.
QSW serves as a unique platform to promote the State of Qatar’s National Vision and to showcase the progress that the State has achieved around sustainability.
The week also fosters community engagement with relevant stakeholders in support of this vision. As part of this week, GWC hosted the third edition of GWC Forum which took place on 8-9 November 2023.
Earthna is a non-profit policy research and advocacy center, established by Qatar Foundation (QF) to provide a holistic view of environmental, social, and economic prosperity.
Activities
The company hosted several activities including beach clean-ups and collaborative planting and landscape design projects with students from different schools at EXPO Doha 2023’s family zone.
