Inaugural flight received by CEOs of Air Arabia and Milan Bergamo International Airport
Air Arabia Egypt has commenced direct flights between Egypt and Italy. It will serve the northern Italian commercial city of Milan twice a week from its hub in Alexandria, Egypt.
The inaugural flight recently landed in Milan Bergamo International Airport and was received by an Air Arabia delegation including the Group Chief Executive Officer Adel Al Ali along with Milan Bergamo International Airport Chief Executive Officer Emilio Bellingardi, airport officials and members of the press. The direct flights operate on Fridays and Sundays under two different timings.
“Italy is an important market for Air Arabia and we are glad to serve Milan with direct flights from both our hubs in Morocco and Egypt,” stated Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia on this occasion.
“We are pleased to celebrate the opening of the new route with Alexandria in Egypt, as part of a strategy to expand the Air Arabia network in Milan Bergamo Airport,” commented Emilio Bellingardi, Chief Executive Officer of Milan Bergamo Airport.
Air Arabia currently operates flights to over 150 routes across the globe from four hubs located in the Middle East and North Africa.
