The new and unique set up is set to serve Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman
Union Coop, the largest consumer cooperative in the UAE recently announced the opening of a new branch with a different concept in the Al Tayy area of Dubai.
With its strategic location and ease of connectivity, this new branch will serve the Emirates of Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, providing them with food and non-food commodities at a comparatively lower price range of 15 to 20%.
It is one of the largest commodity warehouses in the Middle East, and Union Coop’s wholesale branch to sell food and non-food commodities.
The Coop Factory spans 161,460sqft and will sell commodities at wholesale prices. Designed as a self-service concept, Coop Factory includes around 10,000 food and non-food products with a capacity to accommodate over 200 shoppers at a time.
The Coop Factory facility is equipped with modern technology to secure a sustainable commodity stock that meets all needs in different circumstances, indicated a press communique.
“This comes within the framework of translating the rational aim of providing sustainable food resources in the country and building a food security system as a top priority,” affirmed Khalid Humaid Bin Diban Al Falasi, CEO, Union Coop.
