4,000sqm. of Guardian Glass’ SunGuard Neutral Plus 50 high-grade glass used for Dubai’s newest tourist attraction
Dubai Frame features more than 4,000sqm of premium Guardian Glass. This makes the architectural landmark the latest tourist attraction in Dubai to feature locally-manufactured Guardian Glass.
The AED 230mn (US$ 62.62mn) project opened in Zabeel Park as the UAE’s first-ever Sky Bridge that provides a 360-degree view of Dubai’s skyline from a glass-bottom bridge. The product specifically chosen is SunGuard Neutral Plus 50 achieving balance in performance, aesthetics, light transmission and heat insulation.
“The concept of Dubai Frame is unique in itself; being inspired by real life pictures frames we made certain that the glass we used serves the aesthetical and functional purpose of this attraction,” affirmed Wissam Kazzaz, Regional Marketing Director, Guardian Glass, Africa and Middle East.
“The project’s success as we see it today comes to validate the accuracy of our decision and our confident in Guardian Glass,” commented Chin Chin, Business Development Manager, Al Ghurair.
Resembling a huge picture frame, the Dubai Frame showcases the old and new Dubai. One side looks over modern Dubai Skyline including Burj Khalifa and Emirates Towers, while the other side oversees the Deira, Umm Hurair and Karama districts.
