Workshop attended by suppliers, government regulators and a UNGC representative
Tristar recently conducted an External Stakeholder Consultation Workshop for its forthcoming annual sustainability report.
The workshop was attended by customers, suppliers, government regulators, community partners and a representative of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC).
The external stakeholders were asked to complete a materiality assessment form that contains the 10 principles of the UNGC covering labour, human rights, environment, and anti-corruption.
“In order for the information presented in the forthcoming sustainability report to be meaningful, it is crucial that the report reflects the organization’s significant economic, environmental and social impacts or that substantively influence the assessments and decisions of stakeholders,” explained Balaji Nagabhushan, Chief Administrative Officer, Tristar Group.
Tristar Group CEO Eugene Mayne also shared with them the company’s efforts in supporting the Dubai Police’s goal to reduce to zero the number of fatalities on Dubai’s roads by the year 2020.
