MG Motor plans to have five new showrooms in the Levantine country by 2020
MG Motor is continuing its rapid expansion across the Middle East with the announcement of its first-ever showroom in Lebanon. Unity Motor Company has been appointed the British-born brand’s exclusive local distributor, with two new MG showrooms set to open across the country in 2019. The brand’s flagship showroom will be located in the capital, Beirut.
Unity Motor Company will introduce the new MG line-up of SUVs and sedans that will go on sale across several dealerships all over Lebanon.
“This is our first official entry into the market with a partner whose in-depth knowledge of the automotive sector and successful track record in Lebanon creates a solid platform for the future success of the MG Motor brand,” remarked Tom Lee, Managing Director, SAIC Motor ME, which acquired the British brand in 2010.
“We are very excited to relaunch the legendary MG brand in Lebanon,” commented Rabih Rasamny, General Manager, Unity Motor Company.
MG Motor currently operates in six Middle East countries; Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. The MG brand enjoyed extraordinary success in 2018 with a significant 453% growth in sales across the entire region.
MG Motor and Unity Motor Company are planning to open five showrooms across Lebanon by 2020.
