The new company will offer its customers comprehensive logistics and marine services
P&O Maritime Logistics (POML), a Dubai-based marine solutions and logistics company, has been formed following DP World’s recent acquisition of Topaz Energy and Marine and its integration with P&O Maritime.
Through the synergies created by the merger of the two companies, under the DP World umbrella, the POML business is well positioned to grow and build further scale and value for customers and shareholders alike, the company revealed n a press statement.
Offering a distinctive value proposition to customers, POML will focus on three strategic segments–Offshore, Port Services and Logistics, delivering world-class capabilities across industries, with safety and the environment at the forefront.
A core focus for POML’s will be the further optimisation of offshore logistics for energy companies. With the company’s very robust track record, global clients, diverse assets and knowledge of its customers’ operations, POML is uniquely positioned to continue disrupting this part of the supply chain.
The company will be led by René Kofod-Olsen, former Topaz Energy and Marine CEO.

Kofod-Olsen has appointed an Executive Committee consisting of Martin Helweg, Chief Operating Officer; Robert Desai, Chief Commercial Officer; Prasad Narayan, Chief Financial Officer; and Latifa Mohammad, Chief Human Resources Officer, to support him in managing the day-to-day operations of POML’s business.
