Schneider Electric has won two categories at this week’s Future Workplace Awards, for the best corporate well-being programme and the best HR technology implementation according to accompany press communiqué.
The company was commended for creating a safe, engaging work environment with tools and resources that support work-life integration, as well as the support it has provided to employees throughout 2020.
Schneider Electric’s best HR technology implementation award was for its ‘Open Talent Market’ artificial intelligence-powered internal mobility platform, which creates opportunities for employees to accelerate their career development whilst more efficiently balancing the internal supply and demand of talent.
The Future Workplace Awards judging panel was made up of twenty internationally recognized and respected judges from a variety of industry sectors and disciplines.
Five years ago, Schneider Electric introduced a global ‘Employee Wellbeing’ strategy. The company’s people strategy is built on six strategic transformations: talent; high-performance culture; well-being; learning; leadership, and diversity and inclusion, the press note continued.
Conceived to help the company retain talent, Schneider Electric’s ‘Open Talent Market’ (OTM) helps the company access a diverse talent pool from across the global business, ensuring that employees have a myriad of career opportunities to choose from within the company.
“This year has been the most challenging and our focus has been on how we can ensure our people are both physically and mentally well,” remarked Peter Hogg, Director-Talent Acquisition, Middle East and Africa, Schneider Electric.
