Sustainability was a central theme of the forum, with fischer reiterating its dedication to environmentally responsible practices. Attendees were introduced to fischer’s latest initiatives that prioritize eco-friendly construction solutions, which align with global efforts to reduce the environmental footprint of the construction industry.

BIM is proving instrumental in delivering projects on time and within budget.
Prof. Konrad Bergmeister on the Future of Construction: fischer experts discussed how emerging technologies are reshaping the construction landscape, creating more efficient, safer, and sustainable building environments.
Prof. Ashraf Biddah and Dr. Máté Tóth on Repair & Strengthening of Structures: Prof. Ashraf Biddah, an expert in structural repair and strengthening, addressed the global need for rehabilitating aging infrastructure and shared innovative techniques to extend their lifespan.
Carbon fibre-based solutions
Dr. Máté Tóth from fischer complemented this by introducing fischer’s carbon fibre-based solutions and CFRP laminates for reinforcing concrete structures with minimal environmental impact. He also highlighted the REINFORCE-FIX design software, which optimizes retrofitting projects for both safety and sustainability.
In addition to the strategic insights, the well-attended International Expert Forum comprising delegates from across the Middle East and North Africa, also served as a platform for fischer to unveil its latest product innovations.
