Emirates Transport (ET), the UAE’s leading transport solutions provider, has confirmed its participation at GITEX Global 2024, where it will be announcing a range of tech-led initiatives.
Aligned with the event’s focus on innovation, Emirates Transport will unveil three significant partnership announcements that highlight our commitment to integrating electric vehicles and pioneering green solutions. This initiative is a continuation of our sustainability journey that began over a decade ago, marked by the launch of the region’s first electric school bus in 2017.
Emirates Transport leads the industry with a state-of-the-art green fleet, which includes electric and compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles. Our sustainability initiatives—such as tire renewal and waterless dry-cleaning services—not only reduce our environmental impact but also enhance operational efficiency, according to a press statement.
Strategic collaboration
At GITEX, Emirates Transport will unveil its latest projects, including the latest developments in EV charging infrastructure in its strategic collaboration with the UAE’s Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, further demonstrating its dedication to innovative and sustainable mobility solutions.
Additionally, Emirates Transport is actively pursuing hydrogen vehicle technologies and expanding its fleet’s conversion to dual-fuel systems, ensuring a comprehensive approach to sustainable transportation.
“Our three new initiatives will significantly enhance sustainability across multiple sectors, and we eagerly anticipate engaging with a diverse audience of stakeholders to share our vision for a greener future,” commented Peter Milner Joergensen, CFO, Emirates Transport.
