Rapid increases in just three months reflects customers’ diverse needs
4Sale, Kuwait’s leading online classifieds platform, has announced an 11% surge in listings and a 5% spike in Daily Active Users (DAUs) since the Company’s August launch of 64 free listing categories.
The rapid increases in listings and customer activity have come after just three months – with some of the new free listing categories including Electronics, Family, Jobs, Gifts, and Furniture, according to a press statement.
The free listings launch reflects 4Sale’s commitment to enhancing the customer experience; the diverse needs of that customer base; and 4Sale’s ability to meet those needs.
Appointments
The company has also announced various high-profile appointments. This month, the Company appointed Khaled Gomaa as its new Chief Technology Officer. Earlier this year, Mohamad Salah Khouzam was appointed Chief Operating Officer, while Fadila El Badry joined as Chief Marketing Officer.
“I am proud of our new team, and this latest initiative is just the start of an exciting wave of product innovations and developments to further boost our platform,” commented Tarek Sakr, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, 4Sale.
This recent announcement follows a record trading performance in 2023 for 4Sale, following the Company’s expansion to 197 categories, and with over 90% of the Company’s sales now online – up from 65% as recently as 2019.
Since its launch, 4Sale has supported over 2 million registered users in listing 14 million items and services. Over 7 million devices have accessed the platform through app downloads or website registrations, driving an impressive 30 million page views each month, the press statement concluded.
