Investment of SAR 300mn to enhance logistics capabilities in Saudi Arabia
MEDLOG, the logistics arm of the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), has announced a strategic collaboration with King Abdullah Port to establish a state-of-the-art cold storage facility. Port Development Company (PDC), the owner and master developer of King Abdullah Port, is partnering with MEDLOG to drive this transformative project.
This groundbreaking project will entail an investment of SAR 300mn and will cover an expansive 60,000sqm. The new facility is aims to significantly enhance MEDLOG’s operational capabilities in Saudi Arabia, offering advanced storage solutions for perishable goods.
It will feature cutting-edge technology to maintain the highest standards of temperature control and product preservation, aligning with MEDLOG’s commitment to excellence in logistics and supply chain management.
The collaboration between MEDLOG and PDC marks a key milestone in the development of King Abdullah Port as a major logistics hub in the region. By combining PDC’s expertise in port development with MEDLOG’s extensive experience in shipping and logistics, this partnership is set to drive growth, innovation, and operational efficiency in the logistics sector.
