The forum will take place in Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre, Muscat, Oman, from 2-5 December 2024
The Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) Youth Forum, an initiative led by GPCA and the GPCA Youth Council, will return for its 3rd edition from 2-5 December 2024 during the 18th Annual GPCA Forum in Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre, Muscat, Oman.
The forum, which will take place under the theme ‘Youth Powering Tomorrow: Shaping a Sustainable Future’, is led by the GPCA Youth Council comprising 32 young working professionals from 18 GPCA member companies from across the Arabian Gulf.
On 3 December 2024, young professionals and university students will have the opportunity to attend ‘Youth Zone: Debate’ moderated by SABIC Young Leadership Council (SYLC). Nadia Al Hajji, CEO, PIC, and Sponsor, GPCA Youth Council, will deliver the Welcome remarks.
She will be followed by a CEO Panel discussion, featuring Abdulrahman Al-Suwaidi, CEO, QAFCO; Khalid Al Dawood, MD, and CEO, NATPET; and Naser Aldousari, CEO, EQUATE. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in an engaging session discussing energy and the youth with Saudi Energy Leaders Assembly (SELA).
Welcome remarks
On 4 December 2024, Dr. Abdulwahab Al Sadoun, Secretary General, GPCA, will deliver the Welcome remarks. He will be followed by a fireside chat featuring Dr. Mohammed Al-Mulla, CEO, QAPCO, and Vice Chairman, GPCA.
On the last day of the forum, 5 December 2024, young professionals can benefit from the ‘Youth Speed Mentorship’, designed to connect young professionals with more experienced peers, who will share their wisdom and learnings for the future.
