7.5% increase in revenue and 3.4% increase in net profit during this period

Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (EMPOWER), the world’s largest district cooling services provider has announced its financial results for the first half of 2025. The company reported a total revenue of AED 1,453mn, marking a 7.5% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) reached AED 719mn, with a growth of 3.6% and the pre-tax net profit amounted to AED 442mn marking 3.3% growth compared to the first half of last year. The net profit after tax reached AED 403mn marking a 3.4% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

Empower continues to support the sustainable development of Dubai, contribute to achieving global climate goals and the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 targets, while reinforcing the nation’s global leadership in climate action and green infrastructure,” stated HE Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO, Empower.
Empower reported consolidated revenues of AED 3.36bn for the twelve-month period from July 2024 to June 2025, compared to AED 3.16bn in the period from July 2023 to June 2024; an increase of 6.3%. EBITDA for the same period reached AED 1.58bn, compared to AED 1.50bn previously, reflecting a growth of 5.1%.
Moreover, the U.S. Green Building Council has awarded the Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification to Empower’s DLRC District Cooling Plant. The plant, with a production capacity of 47,000 RT, serves the Dubai Land Residence Complex.
