Entries have increased by a record 400% compared to the previous year

BEEAH recently hosted the Future Pioneers Award (FPA) ceremony in Sharjah, recognizing outstanding innovations selected from nearly 1,000 submissions from around the world for the 2025–2026 edition.
Held under the patronage of HH Sheikha Bodour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, President of the American University of Sharjah, the FPA is one of the UAE’s leading grassroots platforms with international impact, rewarding changemakers from around the world for breakthrough ideas that have the potential to reshape the future to be more sustainable.
The award is now in its 14th edition, and entries have increased by a record 400% compared to the previous year, with winning concepts delivering solutions across key sustainability themes, including energy efficiency and conservation, waste reduction, circularity, clean energy production, AI and digital tools for sustainability, and net-zero strategies.
It also attracted participants from ten countries: the UAE, France, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Oman, India, Jordan, Morocco, Qatar, Egypt, and Sudan.
Sustainability innovations
Submissions highlighted the groundbreaking sustainability innovations from individuals and groups across schools, universities, government entities, and corporations worldwide. Building on BEEAH’s decade-long legacy of championing innovations, the FPA has evolved into a global platform for spotlighting transformative solutions and fostering knowledge exchange to address critical challenges facing communities worldwide.

Collaboration

In a ceremony at BEEAH Headquarters attended by industry leaders, innovators, educators, and students, HH Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi awarded the 2025-2026 winners for their pioneering innovations spanning Sustainability Initiative, Prototype, Documentary, and Solution.
The current cycle honored a total of 12 winning entries across the participating categories of Corporate, Schools and Universities, Group, and Individual.
