Auto manufacturer debuts the Kia PV5 at the Museum of the Future in Dubai

Kia Middle East & Africa has unveiled the Kia PV5 in the region, marking the Middle East and Africa debut of the brand’s first Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) model at the Museum of the Future in Dubai.
Designed as a fully electric mobility solution, the Kia PV5 represents a new approach to transportation that combines practicality, flexibility, and next-generation technology.
As the first model within Kia’s PBV lineup, the PV5 has been developed to adapt to the evolving needs of individuals, businesses, and communities, supporting applications ranging from urban mobility and commercial use to leisure and lifestyle needs.
Built around a modular architecture, the PV5 enables users to select a configuration tailored to their operational needs. The regional display in Dubai highlighted six key applications: the PV5 Passenger for personal mobility, ride-hailing and shuttle use; the PV5 Cargo for logistics, delivery and SME operations; the PV5 Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle for inclusive mobility; the PV5 Prime Edition conversion for premium guest and executive transport; and the PV5 Drop Side superstructure for specialised delivery applications.

The Kia PV5 boasts multiple configurations for diverse needs.
The Kia PV5 Passenger brings a new level of practicality to electric passenger mobility. Designed for personal transportation, ride-hailing, car-sharing, hotel shuttles and corporate mobility, it combines a spacious cabin with easy access through sliding doors and generous luggage capacity.
The Kia PV5 Cargo is designed to meet the growing demands of transportation, logistics, SMEs and fleet operations across the region. With a cargo volume up to 4.42 cubic metres, low loading height and practical loading access, it is well suited for urban delivery, service fleets, utilities and last-mile logistics.
Kia PV5 Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV): This model demonstrates Kia’s commitment to inclusive mobility. Designed to support both general passengers and people of determination, the PV5 WAV provides a practical accessible mobility solution with dedicated wheelchair access features and an optimised passenger area.
Kia PV5 Prime Edition: Developed to serve hotels, resorts, executive transport providers and premium customer shuttle services, the Prime Edition focuses on enhanced interior comfort, privacy and passenger experience. It showcases the ability of the PV5 platform to support customers requiring elevated levels of refinement and personalisation.
Kia PV5 Drop Side highlights the commercial flexibility of Kia’s PBV portfolio. Built on a PV5 Chassis-Cab platform, it can support applications such as, box Van, Freezer Box and utility solutions and other business-specific conversions.
