Nissan recently unveiled the all-new Nissan Tekton at its world premiere in India, marking an important milestone in the company’s transformation journey and reinforcing India’s growing role in Nissan’s future.
Developed under Nissan’s ‘One Car, One World’ philosophy and manufactured in Chennai, India, for domestic and export markets, the all-new Tekton highlights India’s importance as both a growth market and strategic export hub.
The model will be exported to 50 global markets across the Middle East and Africa, further strengthening India’s role in Nissan’s global manufacturing and product strategy.
Stronger and competitive
“We are building a stronger and more competitive Nissan in India. As we continue to strengthen our SUV-led portfolio and sharpen our market focus, the world premiere of the all-new Nissan Tekton reflects our ambition to leverage strategic partnerships to expand our market coverage. Tekton is a clear expression of how Nissan is transforming with purpose, towards a more competitive, diverse portfolio,” explained Guillaume Cartier, Chief Performance Officer, Nissan.
The all-new Tekton reflects the company’s ambition to expand market coverage through strategic partnerships, strengthen its SUV portfolio and accelerate growth in key markets. As part of Nissan’s resurgence in India, Tekton supports a broader strategy focused on portfolio expansion, network growth and strengthening the brand’s presence in the market.
Expanding offerings
“India is powering Nissan’s growth across markets and regions. The all-new Tekton will be exported to markets across the AMIEO region and will allow us to expand our offering across Africa and the Middle East,” noted Massimiliano Messina, Chairperson, Nissan Africa, Middle East, India, Oceania and Europe (AMIEO).
Designed for one of the world’s most competitive SUV segments, Tekton combines bold Patrol-inspired styling, advanced technology and premium comfort in a package tailored to evolving customer expectations.
“The Nissan Tekton all-new model has been created with their exact expectations in mind: standout design, advanced technology, and everyday versatility,” added Thierry Sabbagh, Divisional Vice President and President, Middle East, KSA, India and CIS, Nissan and INFINITI.
