Collaboration pairs SunTec Xelerate e-Invoicing technology with IITC’s deep Omani market expertise

SunTec Business Solutions, a leading global provider of revenue management and digital compliance solutions, today announced a strategic alliance with International Information Technology Co. (IITC), one of Oman’s most established System Integrators, to help businesses across the Sultanate prepare for the country’s upcoming e-invoicing mandate.
Formalized under a Memorandum of Understanding, the alliance will see the two companies jointly market, implement, and support the compliant e-invoicing product for Omani enterprises. Under the alliance, SunTec and IITC will collaborate to deliver an accredited access point that serves as a secure gateway for compliant e-invoice exchange within Oman’s Fawtara ecosystem.
The collaboration brings together SunTec’s proven SunTec Xelerate e-Invoicing product and regulatory-compliance expertise with IITC’s strong local presence, system-integration capabilities, and deep understanding of the Omani market.
Attaining compliance
Together, the companies will help organizations achieve compliance with evolving e-invoicing regulations, while advancing their broader digital-transformation goals through a secure, scalable, and future-ready invoicing solution.
Oman’s e-invoicing program, Fawtara, is set to introduce a Peppol-based five-corner CTC framework, with a phased rollout beginning in August 2026 and expanding to all VAT-registered businesses by 2028. The framework is expected to support a broad range of transaction types, including B2B, B2C, and B2G invoicing.
“Together with IITC, we are well positioned to help organizations embrace the Fawtara mandate and turn compliance into a catalyst for long-term digital transformation,” stated Amit Dua, President, SunTec Business Solutions.
Natural extension
“As CFO of OHI Group, I see this alliance with SunTec as a natural extension of our commitment to building businesses that are compliant, efficient, and positioned for sustainable growth. We are proud that IITC is at the forefront of this transformation,” indicated Praveen Kumar, CFO, OHI Group.
“At IITC, we strongly believe in the transformative impact of FinTech in Oman, and this initiative is a key step toward accelerating financial digitization, enhancing transparency, and supporting the Sultanate’s broader digital transformation ambitions,” stressed Parag Gurumukhi, General Manager, IITC.
