Under the collaboration, the two companies intend to integrate complementary capabilities

Magna AI, the global integrated-value-chain sovereign AI transformation leader established through a partnership between Trend Micro and Wistron Digital Technology Holding Company (WDH), powered by NVIDIA, and VAST Data, the AI Operating System company, have announced a strategic collaboration framework to jointly pursue sovereign AI infrastructure opportunities across Saudi Arabia.
The deal was formalized at LEAP 2026, in the presence of Dr. Moataz BinAli, CEO, Magna AI and Haider Aziz, General Manager, META at VAST Data, the collaboration will initially focus on the Kingdom.
Under the collaboration, Magna AI and VAST intend to integrate complementary capabilities across AI transformation, infrastructure architecture, deployment and operations.
Infrastructure challenge
As AI moves into production, the infrastructure challenge extends beyond adding more compute. Large-scale model training, inference and increasingly agentic workloads require data, compute and governance layers that can operate together securely and at scale.
The collaboration is intended to help Saudi organizations develop AI environments capable of supporting these workloads while maintaining the performance, resilience and control required for production deployment.
Full-value-change-model
“By combining Magna AI’s full-value-chain model with the VAST AI OS, we are strengthening an important part of the foundation required to build and operate sovereign AI at scale,” stated Dr. Moataz BinAli, CEO, Magna AI.
“Working with Magna AI gives us a framework to bring those capabilities together for government and enterprise organizations building the next generation of AI infrastructure in the Kingdom,” added Haider Aziz, General Manager, META, VAST Data.
