Dubai-based digital education and talent company, 01Edu has been named as a key partner in NextEra Egypt’s US$ 41.2mn investment.
Dedicated to reshaping the education system with a focus on skills that drive the digital economy, this partnership aims to equip students with the future skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving job market.
This strategic public-private partnership (PPP) between 01Edu and NextEra is part of a government transformative collaboration, leveraging on the strengths of both the private and public sectors to revolutionise education.
Investment
NextEra Egypt’s investment is testament towards its dedication to develop, educate and integrate Egypt’s education system with advanced AI technologies, overhauling the current traditional curricula and providing personalised, cutting-edge learning experiences to prepare students for the future workforce and its demands of the digital age, according to a press communique.
01Edu was hand-selected as it prioritises a skills-based approach to education, aligning learning outcomes with the needs of employers in the digital economy.
“Together, we aim to create a network of skilled professionals capable of leading Egypt’s digital transformation and contributing to a sustainable, knowledge-based economy,” remarked Walid Tarabih, GM, 01Edu Middle East.
Innovative concept
Further to this, 01Edu through their UAE partner, Yaztech, will launch in Q4-2024, an innovative concept with TrueGamers to launch a coding program in the gaming centre of true gamers, where children can learn how to code and play professional e-sport games.
