The Group has become the first global organisation to conduct an integrated assessment from the EFQM
AD Ports Group has been awarded 15 international recognitions from the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), a non-profit organisation that aims to promote and develop a culture of institutional excellence.
AD Ports Group has become the first global organisation to conduct an integrated assessment from the EFQM across 15 entities at one time. This assessment includes five business clusters, five subsidiaries, and five corporate support units across the Group.
The recognition obtained by the entities is classified into three categories: The five business clusters received the ‘Recognised by EFQM’ certificate, reflecting their commitment to global quality standards.
Organizational goals
The five subsidiaries received the ‘Qualified by EFQM’ certificate, highlighting their efficiency in achieving organisational goals. In addition, the five corporate support units received the ‘Corporate Excellence’ certificate, highlighting their excellence in administrative performance and leadership.
The international recognition certificates were awarded by Russell Longmuir, CEO, EFQM, during the fifth edition of MAFNOOD Excellence Awards Ceremony 2024, organised by AD Ports Group, in Abu Dhabi.
“This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Group’s teams across all clusters, reflecting AD Ports Group’s continuous efforts to enhance service quality and operational efficiency,” said Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Managing Director and Group CEO, AD Ports Group.
Founded in 1989, by fourteen leading European businesses, the EFQM is a non-profit membership foundation, which created the EFQM Excellence Model, a framework for achieving business excellence.
