Brock Ballard’s appointment is effective from 1 October 2026

AVEVA, a global leader in industrial software, has announced the appointment of Brock Ballard as Chief Revenue Officer effective 1 October 2026, it was announced in a press statement.
Brock joins the team from Bentley Systems following an extensive recruitment process led by AVEVA; he will succeed Sue Quense in the role as she steps into an advisory capacity.
Brock brings over 20 years of senior leadership in technology sales, having joined Bentley in 2020 as Vice President and Regional Executive, Americas, being named Chief Revenue Officer in 2023, leading all of Bentley’s accounts globally.
Previously, Brock held leadership roles DELMIA Sales, Dassault Systems, at Autodesk Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication and information sciences from the University of Alabama.

Advisory capacity
Meanwhile, Sue Quense will not fully step down from AVEVA, however she will step back from her full-time executive commitments into an advisory capacity, something that she has been planning for some time. Sue will work closely with Brock during the transition and beyond.
