Company will donate over one million masks and over 100,000 hand sanitizers to HCWs
Procter & Gamble (P&G) has announced a series of holistic, inclusive and far-reaching initiatives aimed at protecting everyday heroes in the UAE and across the GCC, providing support for communities, relief agencies and health care workers (HCWs), the company revealed in a press statement.
“We will initially donate one million masks and 100,000 Safeguard hand sanitizers in the UAE to support the battle against Covid-19,” stated Omar Channawi, CEO, P&G Middle East, East & West Africa and General Export Markets.
In addition, under the response and relief program, ‘P&G Protect Our Heroes’, P&G is also serving communities with the following initiatives across the Middle East, East and West Africa.
So far, globally P&G’s in-kind, product and monetary donations add up to tens of millions of dollars across more than 200 relief organizations, more than 30 brands in more than 30 countries, the press note concluded.
