UAE associate office clarifies stance in a recent press communiqué
Following recent reports in the international business press that Hertz Global Holdings and some of its US and Canadian subsidiaries having voluntarily filed for Chapter 11 reorganization in the United States, Al-Futtaim Automotive confirmed that as an independent franchise partner, Hertz UAE is separate and autonomous from the Hertz Corporation and is not part of the Chapter 11 reorganization process.
Fully owned and managed by the Al-Futtaim Automotive Group, Hertz UAE remains open for business and continues to serve its customers as usual, providing the same level of quality and reliability they are used to in connection with their car rental and leasing requirements, the press statement continued.
Hertz UAE has been delivering car rental and leasing solutions for over 25 years now and has emerged as one of the most preferred brands in the market, the notification concluded.
