Carries 18 tonnes of supplies to the Lebanese capital
Etihad Airways in cooperation with the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has transported 16 tonnes of aid from the Government of the United Arab Emirates to Lebanon.
The aid was flown in by an Etihad Airways Boeing 777 aircraft shortly after the explosion at Beirut’s port earlier this week.
In recent months, the UAE aid programme supported by Etihad Airways, has also assisted more than 1 million medical workers worldwide by supplying personal protective equipment (PPE), medical and food aid in support of the fight against the pandemic.
