Newly developed 8-speed automatic transmission with 3.5L V6 engine promises power performance and fuel efficiency
The all-new 5th generation Toyota Avalon was recently launched in the UAE by Al-Futtaim Toyota heralding a new, refined driving experience that underscores confidence and luxury.
Long known for its class-top roomy interior, style and fuel economy, characteristics that were inherited by subsequent generation, the all-new 2019 Avalon enjoys the unique position of ‘Brand Catalyst’, defining Toyota’s direction for the future.
For its fifth generation, Avalon received an all-encompassing makeover spearheaded by Chief Engineer, Randy Stephens, who was present in the UAE for the press launch.
Reinforced by a Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform, which represents an entirely new strategy to the way the company designs, engineers, and packages its vehicles, it provides a comfortable and stable ride with superior handling characteristic and enhanced by a new fuel-efficient 3.5-liter V6 engine and a host of comfort and safety features that are complemented by the Toyota Safety Sense.
Since its UAE debut in 1995, the Avalon has come to be embraced by customers for its ride quality, comfort and roomy interior space, especially when commuting for long distances between the Emirates.
