Company assures no layoffs owing to the current Covid-19 pandemic
Dubai-based integrated energy logistics provider Tristar Group has assured its 2,000 employees across 21 countries and territories that there will be no layoffs due to the current Covid-19 pandemic.
“We have a very resilient business model and together with your continued support and hard work I expect that we can survive the current challenges and come out stronger and better when this is all over,” wrote Group CEO Eugene Mayne in a recent email message to the staff and the media.
Mayne added that timely payment of staff salaries will continue to have the top most priority and that ‘we are working to release the 2019 bonus to all staff soon which I trust will be welcome in these difficult times.’
“All of us our born leaders, in some way or another, and there is no greater time than now to show this leadership. We must act responsibly in our homes, our work places and our neighborhoods. Social distancing or keeping away from crowds and crowded places is the need of the hour to contain the spread of the disease,” Mayne continued in the press statement.
All office and admin staff in the UAE and other GCC countries are now working from home while its global road transport, specialized warehousing, shipping, fuel farms, fuel supply operations and lubricants distribution are still running without compromising Tristar personnel’s health and well-being.
