Frederico Justus as Chief Executive Officer for the Middle East and South Asia

Egis has announced the appointment of Frederico Justus as Chief Executive Officer for the Middle East and South Asia. This strategic move comes as part of Egis’ broader reorganisation under the Impact the Future plan, designed to position the company among the world’s top 10 construction engineering firms and double its turnover by 2029, according to a press statement.
“As the demand for sustainable and digitally enabled infrastructure accelerates globally, Egis is strategically positioned to deliver at every stage. Our vision is to lead this shift in priorities by empowering regions like the Middle East and South Asia—where national ambitions and future-focused development are converging at unprecedented scale,” said Laurent Germain, Group CEO of Egis.
With a distinguished career spanning more than 25 years, Justus has helmed multinational organizations, specializing in performance excellence, large-scale project delivery, and strategic market expansion.
Additional leadership changes
Egis has simultaneously announced additional leadership changes in the region as part of its strengthened management structure. Mohamed Ben Messaoud, previously Country Managing Director for Egis in Egypt, will assume the role of Country Managing Director for Saudi Arabia.
With over 16 years of experience spanning transport, project management, and finance, Ben Messaoud’s appointment reinforces the Group’s long-term commitment to the Kingdom’s transformation agenda.
Robert Hope, formerly Egis’ Country Managing Director in Saudi Arabia, has been appointed Group Chief Development Officer. Since joining Egis in 2021, he has tripled the size of the business in Saudi Arabia. In his new role, Hope will spearhead global sales growth, branding, communications, and strategic development efforts across the Group.
