Easily makes contactless eWallet payment options
Digital Financial Services, a joint venture of Etisalat and Dubai Islamic Bank, has partnered with Lulu Group International to enable secure and contactless payment options for eWallet customers.
The official launch was attended by Dr. Tamer Eltoni, Chief Commercial Officer, Digital Financial Services, and Ashraf Ali MA, Executive Director, Lulu Group International.
With this partnership, eWallet customers will be able to use their eWallet for purchases made at Lulu hypermarkets, supermarkets, department stores across the UAE as well as in Lulu’s web store.
Regulated and licensed by the Central Bank of the UAE, eWallet is a digital payment service aimed at empowering the UAE residents with safe, convenient and flexible payment solutions through an easy-to-use eWallet mobile app, according to a press release.
“eWallet continues to be at the forefront of innovation as more UAE residents experience the benefits of a secure and contactless payment method, even more so during these unprecedented times,” remarked Ahmed Al Awadi, Chairman, Digital Payment Services.
“Contactless payment options are of prime importance to us and we strongly believe that collaborating with tech leaders such as Digital Financial Services will further boost the in-store and online shopping experience of our large multi-ethnic shoppers,” commented Ashraf Ali.
