These results demonstrate the Academy’s success in strengthening national talent
Through an advanced training framework built on the highest international standards, the Dubai Logistics Academy strengthens workforce readiness, supporting Dubai Customs’ objectives of enabling trade, strengthening Dubai’s competitiveness and reinforcing its position as a leading global hub for trade and logistics.
This approach is reflected in the results achieved by Dubai Logistics Academy during the first half of 2026. The Academy delivered 601 training programmes, completing 57% of its annual training plan and recording an increase of 9.24% compared with the same period last year, according to a press statement.
These results demonstrate the Academy’s success in developing a sustainable learning ecosystem and strengthening national talent and organisational capabilities to meet current and future workplace requirements.
Important metrics
Of the 601 training programmes, 96 were delivered in person and 505 online. The programmes totalled 21,082 training hours, an increase of 13.44% compared with the same period last year.
This comprised 17,023 hours of in-person training and 4,059 hours of online training.
Employees received an average of 24 training hours each, four hours more than in the first half of 2025. A total of 894 trainees participated in the programmes.
Specialised programmes
The training framework also included specialised programmes in cybersecurity, data analysis, digital technologies, project management, risk management, business continuity, customs legislation and procedures, supply chains and logistics.
