Crane Worldwide Logistics has announced the official opening of its new office and bonded warehouse in Madrid, Spain.
This expansion marks a significant milestone in the company’s European growth, made possible through the strategic acquisition of Blue Cargo, a well-known logistics provider with deep expertise in the Spain market.
The acquisition of Blue Cargo has enabled Crane Worldwide to immediately establish a strong operational presence in Spain, enhancing its ability to serve clients across Southern Europe with localized expertise and global reach.
Madrid facility
The Madrid facility, located in Coslada, just 4 miles from Madrid-Barajas International Airport, offers a seamless integration of office and bonded warehouse operations, providing clients with end-to-end logistics support under one roof.
The warehouse features flexible floor space designed for bonded storage, consolidation, and inventory staging, ensuring efficient coordination between freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and warehousing services. This co-located model allows for faster response times and tailored solutions for clients operating in and out of the Iberian Peninsula.
Agility and expertise
“The Madrid facility positions us to deliver exceptional service with the agility and expertise our clients expect,” stated Jared Crane, Chief Executive Officer, Crane Worldwide Logistics.
“Joining a global organization that shares those values means our clients will benefit from expanded capabilities without losing the personalized attention they’ve always received. We are excited for what this next chapter brings—for our team, our clients, and the future of logistics in Spain,” commented Francisco Corrochano, Proprietor, Blue Cargo.
