Emirate-wide initiative equips future public sector leaders to support national digital vision
The Government of Fujairah and SAP have reinforced their strategic relationship through the launch of an AI-focused intensive training initiative for employees across multiple government entities.
The SAP Young Professionals Program (YPP) in Fujairah will serve as an ongoing talent-development platform designed to equip participants with advanced technology and Business AI capabilities aligned with Fujairah’s long-term digital ambitions.
The first cohort commenced the intensive full-day training program on 18 May, with the initiative aiming to equip the next generation of government leaders and public sector professionals with advanced digital skills and enhance their practical capabilities in digital transformation and emerging technologies.
The initiative reflects the Emirate of Fujairah’s commitment to investing in human capital and preparing national talent capable of leading digital transformation. Through internationally recognized SAP technology certifications, the program aims to enhance government workforce capabilities, improve operational effectiveness, and strengthen the future readiness of government entities.

The initiative was announced during SAP Connect UAE earlier this month, where senior representatives from the Government of Fujairah and SAP discussed the importance of long-term investment in national talent development and AI-related skills to support the ongoing digital transformation of the public sector.
“Through this collaboration with SAP, employees from across different government entities are gaining practical expertise in emerging technologies and Business AI, helping strengthen the capabilities needed to support innovation, operational excellence, and future government services,” stated Sheikh Eng. Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi.
“The Government of Fujairah is placing significant emphasis on developing human capital and preparing government teams for the next phase of AI-enabled public services,” emphasized Marwan Zeineddine, Managing Director, SAP UAE.
