iCAUR, the premium new energy vehicle brand backed by Chery Group, has opened its sixth showroom in Ras Al Khaimah in partnership with Galadari Brothers.
After openings in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain,Dubai and Sharjah, the new location brings iCAUR’s range-extended electric vehicles closer to customers in Ras Al Khaimah and marks the brand’s second showroom in the Northern Emirates.
Spanning 130sqm, the showroom can accommodate up to three vehicles and provides a dedicated space for customers to explore the iCAUR range. Visitors can examine the vehicles’ design, interiors, and technology firsthand, while sales advisors explain the differences between models, their electric driving capabilities, and the benefits of iCAUR’s range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) system.
The iCAUR V27 is powered by the Golden REEV (Range-Extended Electric Vehicle) system, which uses an electric drivetrain supported by a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine.
Characteristics
Instead of driving the wheels directly, the engine acts as an onboard generator to maintain battery charge when needed, letting the vehicle keep the driving characteristics of an electric vehicle without relying entirely on external charging.
“The V27 and 03T show how range-extended electric technology can meet different driving needs, from daily commutes to longer journeys across the UAE. Working with Galadari Brothers, we are making it easier for customers to explore this technology and find a vehicle that suits their lifestyle,” stated Tim Zhang, General Manager, Chery Middle East.
