The number of destinations served in Syria rises to two
Turkish Airlines has resumed its flights to Aleppo, which were suspended as of April 2012.
Following the launch of flights to Damascus in January 2025, with the addition of Aleppo flights, the number of destinations that Turkish Airlines serves in Syria has increased to two.
Turkish Airlines will operate round-trip flights between Istanbul Airport and Aleppo International Airport three days a week; Aleppo flights will be operated 5 times per week, and beginning September 1, they will be operated daily.
“With the reopening of our Aleppo route, we aim to strengthen economic and social ties between the two countries. As Turkish Airlines, we continue to increase our flight connections while offering our guests more travel options,” stated Mahmut Yayla, SVP Sales, Turkish Airlines.
