Increased brand presence in major European core markets of MANNOL
MANNOL is ramping up its motorsport involvement: following the successful conclusion of the GT Winter Series.
It has already confirmed participation in the GT World Challenge Europe, the MANNOL Mercedes-AMG GT3 from the Grupo Prom Racing Team will also compete in the International GT Open in the 2026 season, according to a press statement.
MANNOL has been engaging in motorsport for many years to demonstrate the performance of its lubricant technologies and further develop them in real-life competitive environments.
Endurance races
The 2026 International GT Open programme consists of eight race events. Two of these, Spa and Monza, will be held as 500-kilometre endurance races. The remaining race weekends will each feature two sprint races. The Mercedes-AMG GT3, with its striking MANNOL livery, will compete in both the sprint and endurance races.
The car, bearing start number #77, will be driven by Alfredo Hernández (MEX) and, in the endurance races, also by Stéphane Tribaudini (FRA). The teams will meet for official testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 20/21 March to prepare for the season.
‘’Together with the Grupo Prom Racing team, we want to use this stage to gain valuable experience under racing conditions,’ stated Konstantin Gaab, Managing Director, MANNOL / SCT Germany.
MANNOL is an internationally successful lubricant brand. Its range comprises more than 500 products, including engine and transmission oils, operating fluids, car care products, and special lubricant solutions for industry, the press note concluded.
