Initiative delivered in partnership with Majid Al Futtaim and Majra

The drive was organized in collaboration with Majid Al Futtaim, an Emirati-owned, diversified lifestyle conglomerate with operations across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, and Majra, the UAE Federal Government entity dedicated to supporting the Private Sector in amplifying their impact in the space of CSR, ESG and sustainability.
The UAE Food Bank plays a central role in advancing the Nation’s food security objectives and promoting a culture of responsible consumption and humanitarian solidarity. The expansion from 3,000 to 5,000 beneficiaries this year highlights the growing impact of coordinated cross-sector collaboration.
Collaboration
“The collaboration between Majra, Majid Al Futtaim, and the UAE Food Bank represents a practical example of the integration of efforts and joint action between government entities, the private sector, and humanitarian initiatives to maximise the positive impact of community initiatives,” asserted HE Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Majra.
“Through partnerships with leading entities such as Majid Al Futtaim and Majra, we continue to expand our capacity to deliver sustainable, community-centred solutions that align humanitarian outreach with ESG principles and long-term national development goals,” commented Manal Obaid bin Yaroof, Head of the Executive Team, UAE Food Bank.
“By combining our capabilities, we were able to reach more people than ever before and contribute to the UAE’s ongoing efforts to enhance food security, social cohesion and responsible resource use,” remarked Ahmed Galal Ismail, CEO, Majid Al Futtaim Holding.
