
The inaugural flight took off from Sharjah on 4th July
Air Arabia has announced the commencement of its new double daily non-stop service connecting Sharjah International Airport with London Gatwick Airport.
The inaugural flight took off on 4th July, marking a significant milestone in the airline’s expanding international network.
The event at Sharjah International Airport was attended by Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Airport Authority and Sheikh Faisal Bin Saud Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA) alongside representatives of the British Embassy in the UAE and Air Arabia senior leadership.
Connectivity
“This new connection further strengthens connectivity between both nations supporting growing demand for air travel while fostering tourism, business and cultural exchange,” stated Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer, Air Arabia.
“The twice-daily schedule offers excellent flexibility for passengers and strengthens our connectivity to the Middle East, while expanding the choice of destinations available from London Gatwick,” remarked Jonny Macneal, Head of Aviation Development, London Gatwick.
