The appointment comes as Louisiana’s industrial sector continues to break records

Mike Camara has been named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gulf of America Logistics (GoAL), effective immediately, while continuing to serve as President of the company.
Camara assumed the role of President of GoAL in February 2026 and has since led the company’s operations across the energy, power, industrial and data center sectors.
“We have built something truly special – the talent, the culture, and our operational foundation are all in place,” stated Camara. “I am proud to lead GoAL into this next chapter and grateful for the dedication of every person on this team,” he added.
Breaking records
The appointment comes as Louisiana’s industrial sector continues to break records. The state has surpassed US$ 100bn in announced capital investment since January 2024, according to Louisiana Economic Development, driven by a wave of LNG, petrochemical, steel and data center projects – including Woodside Energy’s US$ 17.5bn Louisiana LNG facility in Calcasieu Parish.
Camara’s appointment follows a period of expansion for GoAL, including the May 2026 appointment of Jake Minner as Vice President of Operations – Specialized Transport and Trucking, and the opening of a Baton Rouge office to lead the company’s asset-based heavy-haul division.
With offices in Bossier City, Baton Rouge, Lafayette and Rayville, and port assets in Cameron Parish, GoAL is positioned to support that growth – and, as the company looks ahead, to extend its offer beyond Louisiana and the Gulf Coast.
