
Emirates Islamic has announced Emirati Women’s Day celebrations commenced on 28 August 2026, with a wide-ranging programme of events and initiatives that are taking place over an entire month.
Held in line with the announcement made by HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the “Mother of the Nation,” the programme reflects the bank’s commitment to recognising the contributions and achievements of Emirati women and young female entrepreneurs across various fields.
Dedicated platforms were provided for participants to showcase their products and businesses, supporting national talent, promoting Emirati entrepreneurship and increasing the visibility of their ventures.
Emirati Women Entrepreneurs exhibition
The event also featured the opening of the Emirati Women Entrepreneurs Exhibition, in the presence of Farid Al Mulla, Chief Executive Officer, Emirates Islamic, and several senior officials from the bank, with the participation of HE Ayesha Mohammed Saeed Al Mulla, Chairwoman of the Emirates Businesswomen Council.
The exhibition showcased a diverse range of innovative businesses and products presented by a distinguished group of Emirati women entrepreneurs.
“Through this initiative, the bank celebrates talented and enterprising Emirati women in the community and their contributions,” asserted Farida Mohammad Rafi, Chief Human Resources Officer, Emirates Islamic.
