Net profit quadruples to AED 18.6mn

The UAE’s United Foods Company (UFC) has announced its financial results for the three-month period ended 30 June 2026, delivering a performance for the second quarter of 2026, reflecting continued growth in business activity, improved operating performance and enhanced profitability across its operations, it was reported in a press statement.
Gross revenue reached AED 279.8mn during the quarter, compared with AED 153.1mn in Q2-2025, while net revenue increased to AED 270.8mn from AED 145.0mn.
Profit before tax increased to AED 20.5mn, compared with AED 5.2mn in the corresponding quarter last year, while net profit rose to AED 18.6mn from AED 4.6mn.
Macroeconomic uncertainty
The performance was delivered despite continued geopolitical and macroeconomic uncertainty across the region, including ongoing volatility in commodity prices, supply chains, inflation and logistics.
United Foods Company continued to manage these conditions through diversified sourcing strategies, inventory management, pricing controls and established business continuity and risk management frameworks, the company said.
The quarter’s performance demonstrates the Company’s ability to translate strong revenue growth into significantly higher earnings. The substantial increase in profit before tax and net profit highlights the strength of the underlying business fundamentals and the company’s focus on delivering sustainable value for shareholders.
