Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has announced a partnership with STOP THE TRAFFIK—a global non-profit organization focused on preventing human trafficking and modern slavery through intelligence-led action and cross-sector collaboration—to disrupt crypto-funded exploitation as the first crypto company to partner with STOP THE TRAFFIK.
Binance’s partnership with STOP THE TRAFFIK reflects its broader commitment to combating illicit activity globally, protecting users, and strengthening the integrity of the wider crypto industry.
Specialized intelligence resources
Through this collaboration, Binance will gain access to specialized intelligence resources, expert insights, and targeted training to help proactively identify, investigate, and disrupt illicit activity linked to human trafficking.
“Financial crime prevention must continue to evolve to address the real-world harms that intersect with illicit finance, including human trafficking and related exploitation,” avowed Noah Perlman, Chief Compliance Officer, Binance. “Collaboration across sectors is essential to identifying and disrupting these abuses, which is a pressing issue globally,” he added.
